Leila Wehbe and Alona Fyshe, PhD candidates in the Machine Learning Department are among the inaugural recipients of Rothberg Research Awards in Human Brain Imaging. They will use their share of the $100,000 prize to use machine learning, fMRI and magnetoencephalography (MEG) to model the neural processing of a word to understand how it is affected by semantic context.
